RULES

•Games begin at 7:00.

•Games are 6 ends long. If both teams agree before their game begins, they may play a shorter game (ie. 4 ends). At 9:00, teams must finish the end they are playing, and the game ends there (regardless of whether 6 ends have been played).

•If a game is tied after 6 ends or after the 9:00 buzzer: shootout!

SHOOTOUT RULES:

• Teams throw one rock each until a team scores. No player can throw twice until every other player on the team has shot.
• No takeouts - leave a rock in place unless it has to be moved for an incoming shot. If it's moved and teams can't agree on which shot was closer, the shootout continues.
• Examples:
  • Skip A scores, Skip B misses - A wins
  • Skip A misses, Skip B misses - next round. Vice A misses, Lead B scores - B wins

•Winning team buys the first round of drinks. (Also: we need a new drinking hole.)

•Playoff weeks will be February 18 and February 25.

•Standings tiebreakers are as follows: head-to-head record, most head-to-head points scored, total wins, team +/-.

•League winners will receive much respect, and hold the Big One trophy for one year. Losers will be met with derision and will feel shame, but will also get their drinks paid for.
